MeBUG president, David presented his Letter to Members report, at the September 2026 AGM, noting progress with cycling infrastructure in Manningham, Maroondah, Monash, Whitehorse, Knox and Boroondara. Also noted was MeBUG’s participation in the Eastern Transport Coalition Transport Forum held in Box Hill on September 2nd.
Other developments included;
- Almost completed shared path through the Ngarrack Nakorang Wilum Park and noting advocacy work by David Simm and Elaine Hopper;
- The Whitehorse Integrated Transport Strategy which includes the interconnection of the Box Hill to Ringwood shared path and the Pipe Trail shared path.
