Work is progressing with the construction of a shared trail along the trail, formerly known as the Healesville Freeway Reserve. At the Eastern end, the section between Boronia Road and Morack Road is almost complete. The second section to Davy Lane is also progressing.
We received an update from Parks Victoria on 21 December 2025, on plans for the connections at both the East and West ends of the path.
